The Maharashtra State Cooperative Consumers’ Federation Ltd, Mumbai (MSCCF) is the apex federation of consumer cooperatives in Maharashtra state. Established in 1964, MSCCF today operates through 8 divisional offices at District-level. It also runs a chain of multipurpose supermarkets under the brand name ‘Apna Bhandar’’. MSCCF has always been on the forefront of consumer cooperative movement in the state. Its prime objective is to provide the consumer cooperatives in Maharashtra all essential commodities appropriately measured and at right price.

The MSCCF strives to prevent exploitation of consumers by monitoring the markets with the help of its member consumer cooperatives. When there is shortage of essential commodities in the open market, MSCCF with the help of the State Government arranges for the supply at reduced rates through its consumer cooperatives.
